A heartfelt and attention grabbing title

What an amazing, turbulent journey showing resilience and strength.

One person, yet the story of many

I really don't know where to begin. I read 'Born a Half-caste' by Marnie Kennedy on 27th January, the day after 'Australia Day', after three days of dealing with the lack of understanding about 'why there is conflict around that day' being exhibited in the different 'family history' networks of which I am a recent member. It was an eye-opener to realise that in 2022 so many on these networks had not taken the time to do the reading and research which would break down their barriers and bring understanding and compassion. Marnie Kennedy says it all through prose/story and poetry. It is all there; spoken from the heart. Even if you know nothing and don't know where to begin, this is the book for you.
