A collection of songs by the late Aboriginal singer Dougie Young who began writing and performing around Wilcannia and western New South Wales in the 1950s and 60s.
His songs tell of the life of Aboriginal people in Wilcannia - and also explore Aboriginality in a way that was quite original for the time, touching on oppression, racism and land rights.
